Okay, I was ambivalent toward the Phoenix Wright Takarazuka musical, but after watching
this video... I'm stupidly excited. I make a :D :D :D face whenever I think about it. It pushes all of my awesomeness buttons: pseudo-femslash, pretty girls in suits, big, showy musical numbers, Girlshoe and Girl!Larry and
Lotta! Heck, even Random-Heterosexual-Love-Interest!Leona doesn't really bother me. So... SQUEE! Interesting that they're using the English names, though; does anybody know why?
valentinite, I played through Spider and Web, and it was really neat. I had to go to the walkthrough a couple of times (once, with the door-scrambler puzzle, because I was THIS close to the right solution but had screwed up the timing and didn't realize it). A couple of the moments were really effective -- escaping the interrogation chamber was a big one. I just wish it were a little longer, gave us time to get more involved; I guess that's my main complaint with a number of games, because so many of the games are written for the IF Comp, with its two-hour playtime limit. I just started playing Anchorhead -- have you played that one, and if so, what did you think? I'm liking the atmosphere.
And finally (for now at least), I've gotten myself hooked on
this game, a very clever and offensive forum-fighting browser-based RPG. I'm playing through as a Troll, with such attacks as ASCII Text Attack, Fap, and Spoil. Pretty entertaining.
