I got home safely on Saturday evening! I boarded the plane on time, ready to go...
And then we sat there. For two and a half hours. With a row of children behind me being obnoxious (though I can't say I blame them, except the little guy who kept kicking my seat). Everyone around me missed their connections -- but I had initially had a four hour layover, so I was alright. I read 200-some pages of The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Blubear, which kept me occupied.
And the low today is -20 degrees with the windchill here in my Midwestern hometown (-29 degrees for you Celsius folks), which is very much unusual. But I'm keeping cozy.
